3 Ways to Show Thanks on Thanksgiving

Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes and that lovely way to end the meal - pumpkin pie. Thanksgiving is here! We love Thanksgiving and the time it allows us to spend with friends and family. Most of all, we love that it's a day filled with love and gratitude. In honor of that, here are 3 ways to give simple tokens of gratitude to your host this Thanksgiving.

1) Write a hand-written thank you card to your Thanksgiving host

Our fabulous Thanksgiving hosts spend hours prepping for the day by planning, shopping and cleaning. On the big day they wake at the crack of dawn, get the turkey in the over and conduct the masterful cooking of the cacophony of dishes and desserts. An easy and thoughtful way to show them gratitude is to write them a note acknowledging and saying thanks for all the fabulous things they've done on this feastful day.

2) Say a quick thank you to your Thanksgiving host . . . and offer to help

There are always a million and one things to do on Thanksgiving and no doubt your host will greatly appreciate a heartfelt thank you for all they've done, and an offer to help. Even if it's just putting napkins on the table, it's one less thing for them to worry about. Go ahead - give it a try!

3) Bring something to show gratitude to your Thanksgiving host

The options for showing your gratitude are endless! Is there something that you know is your host's favorite? Bring that! Are you creative in any way? Write a poem of gratitude, draw your gratitude, or craft your gratitude in some fanciful way. A Thanksgiving themed bouquet, or any bouquet really, are always welcome host gifts and, of course, we at Ilsa Fragrances would be amiss if we didn't mention the option of a luxury perfume-grade, hand-poured scented candle like our Infinite No 1 Luxury Candle for your host!

We wish you the best as you share gratitude, happiness, love and food this Thanksgiving. We are grateful for you (and pumpkin pie)! Cheers from Ilsa Fragrances.
