4 Mantras to Achieve a Positive Mindset


And just like that it's the end of July! This month we've been focusing on bringing good things into our lives by harnessing the power of positive thinking through cultivating a positive mindset.

At Ilsa Fragrances our mission is to empower you to believe in yourself and all you can do (AND smell good while doing it, of course!). One of the most important ways of being your best self so you can go after your dreams is to focus on your physical health, and, even more importantly, your mental health, which is why we've been focused on cultivating a more positive mindset this month.

So, what are we waiting for! Let's recap our positive affirmations from this month so you've got them ready to conquer any negative thoughts, negative feelings, negative self-talk, negative emotions and (or!) negative attitudes that may come your way.

I surround myself with positivity

While you repeat this mantra to yourself, remember to breathe deeply, practice gratitude and celebrate the small victories of the day.

I prioritize self-care

Say it, repeat it, and then grab some self-care! That idea might seen a bit broad, so here are some great ways to conquer a negative attitude and bring in a positive attitude by prioritizing self-care. Get a good night's sleep, do something you love (like reading or playing video games), get some exercise (even just going for a walk helps!), set a boundary with negative people in your life, and, of course, take some deep breaths!

I let go of perfection

Seeking perfection is kind of the opposite to cultivating a more positive outlook for yourself. It does nothing but foster negativity because perfection is illusive and unattainable! So, say the mantra, I let go of perfection and accept that good IS good enough!

I seek the positive

When the alarms goes off, keep your eyes shut for just one more blissful moment while you take a deep breath and say to yourself: I seek the positive. Banish your negative self-talk, set boundaries with negative people, transform your negative thoughts into positive beliefs . . .  and it all starts with saying to yourself "I Seek The Positive."
