Yay!
For the third year we are a sponsor of the celebratory Girls on the Run Maricopa & Pinal Counties 5K event, the culmination of the 10-week program which teaches the participants, girls in 3rd – 8th grade, they have the power within them to do and be anything they dream!
We are so honored to yet again be a part of this event, but this year is a little different. Instead of the traditional 5K being completed this weekend in downtown Phoenix with thousands of people, due to the coronavirus pandemic, it’s going virtual and everyone is invited to participate!
Here’s how:
- Grab the whole household and ask them to participate
- Get your bib and other fun printables from the #girlsontherun5Kfun virtual toolkit
- Have some fun outdoors - run, walk, skip, dance, or roll 1 mile, 5k, or more this weekend (April 25 & 26)…appropriately social distancing, of course!
- Take photos and post to Instagram and Facebook with the tag #GOTR5KFun
